AssociationAntons Hus

We are needed - to spread information about the importance of both tailored recovery and sensory experiences for well-being. This knowledge is useful for everyone, but especially for those who experience atypical sensory perceptions, as is often the case with autism and ADHD.

You are needed - because by joining us, we can grow, collect, develop, and share
knowledge. Together, we can ask constructive questions, share experiences, and support
one another.

Together we can - make our voices heard and participate in municipal and regional
discussions on issues we consider important.

As a member, you will enjoy - the joy and satisfaction of being part of an association
working to improve lives through individually tailored recovery and by spreading
knowledge about senses and perception.

As a member, you will have the benefit of recovering at Antons Hus/Tallstigen and access to various sensory strategies and a wonderful sensory garden.

You will also receive the monthly newsletter "Senses and perception" where you'll find useful tips and ideas.

As a visitor to our website - you can learn more about what we mean by senses,
perception, and individually tailored recovery.

Our competence lies within autism. We are unique with our broad base of knowledge, ranging from personal diagnosis, parenthood, LSS professionals to researchers.

Antons Hus aims to:

Offer the opportunity to recover in an environment that is adjusted and has an understanding of the challenges that recovery can involve for individuals with disabilities.

Spread knowledge about senses and perception.

Develop a meaningful workplace/daily activity center for people who experience
significant social exclusion.

Antons Hus collaborates with the City of Malmö. We believe in partnerships.

Contact us if you are interested in collaborating, learning more about senses/perception, or
booking the house.

At Antons Hus, we believe that everyone has the right to peace, regardless of whether they
have a disability or not. From our own experiences, we know that one of the groups in society that struggles the most to find peace is individuals with autism and their families, including both children and adults.

Antons Hus/Tallstigen is a house you can rent for a short period. Before the stay, the Antons Hus team identifies what needs to be adjusted and prepares the house to ensure a positive experience for the guests. Guests spend their stay alone in the house. The accommodations are primarily tailored/adjusted to individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders (autism).

In addition to the "house for recovery" we also aim to develop a model for both participants and employees/leaders in a daily activity center. We’re not there yet, BUT we want to be able to offer pedagogically thought-out, meaningful, and developmental tasks in a
daily activity center, which will be responsible for managing the "house for recovery".

The idea

It is competence, will, and understanding that make all the difference; these factors
determine whether, for example, a vacation becomes a time for recovery or yet another
traumatic failure.

See Carls film about the idea of a successful vacation. (Click on the image, only in Swedish.)

You can rent Antons Hus/Tallstigen, located in Veberöd, Lund Municipality/Skåne.
